Visit Nishvika Naidu, an actor in Bengaluru, and you will be greeted by warm licks from her six-month-old Cocker Spaniel, Junior Leo, and the year-and-a-half-old Indie, Lulu. On International Dog Day, Nishvika shares her love for her furry companions.

Nishvika always had a special fondness for dogs. Despite her mother's reservations about the maintenance, she brought home her first pet, Leo, who quickly won her mother's heart. Leo became the star of their lives until he passed away in December last year.

Two years ago, Nishvika's mother rescued Lulu, who was meant to be a temporary guest but ended up becoming a permanent part of the family. Lulu integrated well with Leo and brought joy to their home. After Leo's passing, they welcomed Junior Leo, lovingly called Juny, into their home to help Nishvika's mother through her grief.

Nishvika believes in adopting rather than buying dogs, and she knew Junior Leo would receive the love and care that Leo and Lulu had. The bond between dogs and their owners is always heartwarming, and Nishvika cherishes the joyous reunions with her pets.

Despite Lulu and Junior Leo's mischievous antics around the house, Nishvika finds it impossible to stay mad at them for long.Oh, you are filled with love as you forgive them without hesitation.
